About The Position

The Armed Security Officer position is located in the Harrisburg area (Enola) and requires ACT 235 certification. The role involves providing security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and following company policies and procedures. The officer will conduct walking patrols, identify and report security threats, and perform site-specific duties such as customer service and loss prevention. The position requires writing detailed incident reports and responding to incidents in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• Current ACT 235 certification.
• License to carry a firearm.
• Personal firearm, duty belt, and other armed gear.
• Reliable transportation.
• Security experience.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Current or prior military experience.
• College education in the security field.
• Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and company policies.
• Conduct walking patrols of the building/facility or assigned areas.
• Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, or emergency situations.
• Perform site-specific duties including customer service, loss prevention, and security roles.
• Write detailed incident reports during shifts.
• Contact appropriate individuals as directed by site post orders.
• Know and implement site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Follow all company procedures and maintain acceptable attendance.
• Participate in all required orientation and training programs.
• Respond to incidents during shifts in conformity with Post Orders and Use of Force Policy.
