About The Position

The Premise Guard position at GardaWorld is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility and its personnel. This role involves surveillance, monitoring, and administrative support, making it a critical part of the cash management operations.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least one year of experience in the security industry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current armed security license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits or licenses.
• Obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation physical health certificate.
• Demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
• Heightened sense of security.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security or military-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance of the building and safety of all personnel.
• Assist in administrative duties as directed by management.
• Monitor cameras and conduct routine walks through the facility.
• Greet and direct employees, customers, and vendors.
• Log non-site employees prior to entering and exiting the facility.
• Inspect personal belongings or packages being carried into and out of the facility.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and answer the main telephone line.
• Cross-train in other operational areas as assigned.
• Cooperate with other staff members and contribute to team efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a starting hourly wage of $18/hour.
