About The Position

As an Armed Police Sergeant PRN with Overland Park Regional Medical Center, you will perform basic security duties and respond to emergency situations. Your role will involve conducting interviews and initial investigations of reported incidents, operating a variety of equipment commonly used in the department, and maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will oversee the Armed Police Officers, set team schedules, manage job performance, and report issues to the department leader. This position requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to remain calm and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must be a commissioned Police Officer within the state of Kansas at time of hire.
• A minimum of two years Law Enforcement or equivalent or Military Police preferred.
• College level course work in police sciences or related field preferred.

Responsibilities
