About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Applicants must have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor entrances, controlled access points, and sensitive areas involving cash handling and/or financial operations, verifying credentials and following established post orders and escalation protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and site leadership with incident reporting, shift logs, and communication regarding security-related issues, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
