Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will carry a concealed weapon as required, respond to situations with calm professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and detailed reporting. Requirements
- A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
- 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities while assigned to an armed patrol post.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting and escalating concerns involving suspicious activity, disturbances, alarms and/or access issues.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, offices, ATMs, parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with maintaining orderly movement of employees, vendors and/or customers in controlled areas.
- Complete detailed written reports and logs, document security-related incidents, and communicate updates to site leadership, law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
