About The Position

The position involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, customers, and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The role requires working 12-hour shifts, either from 6 AM to 6 PM or from 6 PM to 6 AM, seven days a week.

Requirements

• Must be an active full-time Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer.
• Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as FT Peace Officer documentation.
• Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• (Indiana, Minnesota and Retired law-enforcement will have additional requirements)

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, elevator emergency, and hazardous materials.
