The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. A Premier Protective Security employee is always attentive and often notices things that others don't. Their vigilance is necessary to be aware of potential risks or incidents that may take place on our customers' premises.

Requirements

• Must be currently licensed as an Armed Security Guard (Level 3) in New Mexico.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of previous Armed Guard experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises.
• Patrol a variety of locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site.
• Provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
