About The Position

As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. Requirements

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Law Enforcement Officer License.
• 22+ years of age.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or critical events.
• Remain alert and attentive during all assigned shifts, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain proficiency in security-related protocols, emergency response, and the proper handling of firearms.
