Armed Guards - Albuquerque - LEO Experience Required - PT/FT
About The Position
This detail is designed to be a visual deterrent against theft, physical confrontation, and other offensive behavior. Security is to use their command presence and verbal instruction to deter theft and address patrons that are harassing other patrons, damaging equipment, or creating physical confrontation. Security WILL NOT make any form of physical contact with anyone unless they are protecting themselves or others from bodily harm. Security will remain indoors at all times and will not chase after or engage any patron that departs the property for physical confrontation, theft, equipment damage, or failure to pay for merchandise.
Requirements
- 7+ years Law Enforcement experience
- Active Level 3 Guard Card issued from the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Familiar and comfortable with report writing
Responsibilities
- Maintain high situational awareness
- Maintain a professional presence inside the store acting as a crime deterrent
- Adhere toDDCuesPost Orders and General Instructions
- Report Incidentsimmediatelyas they occur, both to the client andDDCuesCorporate Office
- Security mustmaintainall certifications with theNewMexicoRegulation and Licensing Departmentand must have certification card(s) or Active Law Enforcement Officer Credentials on their person while on duty.
- Security will be professionally dressed in a tactical uniform that includes an easily recognizable Security shirt, jacket and/or hat that visuallyidentifiesthem as the on-duty security to the client, staff, and thegeneral public.
