As a Patrol Armed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This post requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with staff and visitors, respond to incidents, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service and a secure environment at the location.
Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Support access control measures and observe entry and exit points in accordance with site requirements.
Monitor for and report any unusual or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and protocols.
Document incidents and complete detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
