About The Position

The Field Supervisor for Walden Security manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities, at the field level, of all assigned Security Officers and executes all tasks related to maintaining prescribed standards in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures. This position includes providing the first line of supervision during hours when an Operations Staff member is not on duty, working as an armed, uniformed officer, and having a working knowledge of the Specific and General Post instructions for all Branch posts. The Field Supervisor patrols assigned posts using a company-provided vehicle and has the authority to make decisions in compliance with Walden policies, including relieving any security officer in violation of rules or procedures. Responsibilities also include conducting inspections, assisting in on-the-job training for new officers, responding to alarms, and recording daily events on the Daily Inspection Report (DIR).

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of 25 years of age.
• Ability to pass drug test, motor vehicle record, and criminal background check.
• At least 3 years of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and coordinate activities of assigned Security Officers.
• Provide first line of supervision during hours without Operations Staff.
• Work as an armed, uniformed officer.
• Patrol assigned posts using a company vehicle.
• Make decisions in compliance with Walden policies.
• Relieve security officers in violation of rules/regulations/procedures.
• Conduct inspections of posts and Security Officers.
• Assist in on-the-job training for newly assigned security officers.
• Respond to building/facility and bank alarms.
• Inform Field Manager or Operations Manager of urgent matters.
• Record daily events on the Daily Inspection Report (DIR).
• Fill any open posts during shift with off-duty security officers.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates for security.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and expel suspicious individuals.
• Register at watch stations to record inspection trips.
