About The Position

This isn’t just a leadership role — it’s a cornerstone position in the future of GCI Security. As a Field Operations Supervisor, you’ll manage our evening and overnight field operations, overseeing a team of 30 officers, build your leadership team, set the standard for professionalism in the field, and work directly with executive leadership to help scale a high-performance, purpose-driven security company. We’re looking for someone who leads from the front — calm under pressure, great with people, and obsessed with raising the bar. You’ll be a key player in helping design and implement officer training, improve recruiting, boost morale, and ensure our clients continue receiving the elite service they expect from GCI. Starting Pay: $27.00 per hour (based on experience and alignment with our mission). Hours & Schedule: Flexible, full-time schedule with approximately 20 hours spent on post and 20 hours completing site check-ins and management/administrative tasks. Some evening/overnight hours required in order to touch base with evening and overnight shift officers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have an armed security license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment (required)
  • Must have 5 years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience (required).
  • Must have 5 years of supervisory experience in security or a related field (required).
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Must demonstrate firearms proficiency and pass a weapons qualification.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to fill vacant posts on short notice, if needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and set the tone for field operations, officer conduct, and post performance.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor officers across multiple client locations and shifts.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to design and execute officer development, recruiting, and morale-boosting initiatives
  • Collaborate with the executive to design and execute officer training programs including modules in leadership, de-escalation, emergency response, crisis intervention, incident reporting, and customer service.
  • Coach and hold team members accountable to GCI’s standards, policies, and post procedures.
  • Conduct field audits, quality checks, and client check-ins to ensure consistent, worry-free service for our clients.
  • Assist with onboarding, post training, and site setup for new accounts and officers.
  • De-escalate conflict, address officer issues, and resolve client concerns with clarity and professionalism.
  • Communicate consistently with leadership to provide field-level insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, values-aligned leadership culture inside GCI.
  • Represent the GCI brand in the field with pride, consistency, and clarity of mission.
