About The Position
As an Armed Driver/Messenger at Fortress Armored Services, you will play a crucial role in the cash logistics sector, ensuring the safe transport of valuables to and from various customer locations, including banks and cash vaults. This position requires a high level of vigilance and responsibility, as you will be tasked with guarding and maintaining the safety and security of both your crew and the assets being transported. You will operate armored trucks, adhering strictly to all state and local driving regulations, while also being prepared to respond to any incidents that may arise during your shifts. The role demands a proactive approach to safety, requiring you to remain alert and prepared at all times, protecting the crew and premises while also monitoring for any potential accidents that could lead to loss. In addition to driving duties, you will be responsible for maintaining communication with your vehicle crew and dispatch personnel to ensure secure transactions. The job may require you to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, and you must be able to lift heavy items, as the position involves handling valuables that can weigh between 50 to 75 pounds.
