About The Position

Shield's Business Solutions is looking to hire an Armed Courier in the Allentown (Lehigh Valley Area). Start and end your day from your home. Company vehicle is provided along with fuel and tolls while on the clock. Travel to our customer locations to pick up/drop customer valuables. The hourly pay rate is $20 - $25 per based on experience and qualifications. Overtime is paid at 1.5 per hourly rate for hours worked over 40 when applicable. As an Armed Courier: You are on the front line of our company. With the utmost professionalism, you take responsibility for the safe transportation of CUSTOMER SHIPMENTS to and from our clients' locations. You drive safely and securely following company procedures and carefully complete your daily route of assigned stops. While completing your designated routes, you stay in close communication with the dispatch team about any issues or events. With attention to detail, you keep any necessary paperwork up-to-date and accurate. You will operating a handheld device for tracking purposes. Requirements

Over 21 years of age
Own a handgun
Act 235 Certification F
Valid drivers with a clean driving record
Pass background check
Pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen
Lifting to 50 lbs.
Computer literate
Can provide a safe location to park company vehicle
