Requirements

• Valid Florida Class D and Class G security licenses.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred, especially in security, law enforcement, or customer service.
• Must possess a valid registration/permit/license required by the state of employment.
• Ability to provide reliable transportation to consistently get to and from work on time.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.
• Demonstrated ability to be very customer service oriented.
• Energetic and focused personality with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting.
• Conduct foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrols of applicable areas.
• Report suspicious activities and persons, and write detailed narrative reports.
• Maintain daily activity reports (DAR's) and enforce post orders, site rules, and regulations.
• Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, or hazards.
• Participate in all company and site required orientation and training programs.
• Conduct security, customer service, or support functions as directed by supervisor.
