About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling designated areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing security protocols. This role requires a proactive approach to safety and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism and composure.

Requirements

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in conflict management is a plus.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
• Must possess a valid armed security license as per state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Military experience is beneficial but not mandatory; candidates with a militarized background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing assistance during investigations or emergencies.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.
