This is a new opportunity for a Network Engineer in the Florida area to perform on-site and project-based consulting with various customers to implement and support Arista-based networks. When not required to be on the client site, you will be working from home, but you MUST be commutable within the state of Florida to be considered for this role. This role requires approximately 50% travel within Southwest Florida, while the remaining 50% of the work can be performed remotely. In this role, you will: Implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise networks and related systems Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients Strong knowledge of Arista deployment at edge and datacenter is a must

  • Implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise networks and related systems
  • Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Strong networking experience for at least six years two of which needs to be deploying Arista
  • Demonstrable experience in the implementation, troubleshooting and support of large enterprise networks
  • Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSFP, and BGP)
  • Good understanding and practical experience with switching technologies (Spanning tree, EtherChannel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB)
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%
  • Strongly prefer experience with the implementation of Arista-based VXLAN environment
  • Experience with wireless technologies
  • Familiarity with Virtual Private Network (VPN) and firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point, etc)
