About The Position

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of previous retail experience, preferably in a soft goods apparel environment
• Equestrian/riding experience a plus - Western or English
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Able to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of PC applications
• Experience with retail POS/inventory computer systems

Responsibilities

• Representing Ariat with an exemplary attitude and strong commitment to established service standards
• Achieving personal sales goals that contribute to the overall store plan
• Displaying leadership on the sales floor
• Properly merchandising, opening and closing the store
• Maintaining positive team morale
• Maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
