Overview The Arena Attendant is part of the team which operates Independence Community Ice on a daily basis. The position reports to the Manager on Duty as well as to Rink Management. Arena Attendants are the backbone of the Community Ice Staff and is relied upon for Daily rink operations
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Ability to works nights and weekends.
- Have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform any duty required to operate the rink.
- Reception-Greeting customers and checking in prepaid pass holders.
- Pro Shop Attendant-Staffing cashier and/or rental desk.
- Process payments and hand out skates.
- Housekeeping-Monitor rink during open hours for cleanliness.
- After closing, clean rink as needed, including vaccuming and sweeping rink and emptying trash recepticles.
- Skate/Ice Monitor-Monitor ice to maintain safety of customers.
- Address issues with individual skaters as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
