About The Position

Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the benedictine tradition, is seeking a part-time (approximately 10 hours per week) Arena and Ice Rink Attendant. The Arena and Ice Rink Attendant is responsible for assisting the Arena Manager and supervisor in running the Thomas F. Sullivan Arena at Saint Anselm College to ensure superior operations, safety, fiscal health, and customer satisfaction. This position must display strong customer service skills when interacting with all arena constituents.

Requirements

• Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous manner.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• High School graduate or equivalent, with related experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience supervising others.
• Previous Zamboni or similar mechanical experience/background highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Arena Manager and supervisor in running the Thomas F. Sullivan Arena.
• Ensure superior operations, safety, fiscal health, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform maintenance of the building and equipment.
• Carry out necessary janitorial duties.
• Maintain the ice rink surface using a Zamboni ice resurfacer and ice edging tools.
• Monitor operating systems and record readings in appropriate logs.
• Respond to customer needs in a courteous and efficient manner.
