About The Position

The Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, leadership development, and guest experience across multiple restaurant locations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role supports General Managers in achieving business goals through coaching, auditing, and strategic guidance. The Area Supervisor plays a key role in driving operational excellence, team development, and brand standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • At least 3 years prior management experience; prior GM experience preferred
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in fast food, hospitality or retail environment
  • Experience managing multiple locations and direct reports of all experience levels
  • Ability to positively influence change
  • Ability to coach and develop managers, supervisors or people leaders
  • Ability to indirectly influence KPIs
  • ServSafe certification required to be obtained and active throughout tenure

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in modeling accountability, professionalism, and brand values
  • Provide hands-on coaching and leadership development to General Managers and department leaders
  • Influence and guide teams, building trust and alignment across locations
  • Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning and internal promotions
  • Monitor and support performance metrics such as OSAT, OEPE, labor cost, food waste, etc.
  • Respond to operational challenges with strategic decision-making and clear communication
  • Visit stores regularly to observe and audit people and processes, provide feedback and follow-up to check for improvement
  • Conduct regular audits of food safety, inventory, scheduling, and customer service standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
  • Facilitate regular GM meetings to ensure alignment of goals, communicate upcoming changes and gather feedback on opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with upper management and cascade to GM’s
  • Assist GM’s in resolving conflict and operation issues promptly and professionally
  • Review store specific KPI reports to spot trends and opportunities. Assist GM with strategic planning and execution for improvement.
  • Secondary point of contact during internal/external audits and vendor visits
  • All other duties as assigned
