About The Position

The Area Supervisor is a member of the Store Leadership who is responsible for a specific, assigned area of the Store as well as the general operations and supervision of the Store when functioning as the Manager on Duty. Area Supervisors are responsible for opening and closing the Store, supervising Associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy to shop environment. They ensure proper merchandise presentation, and maintain a clean work area at all times. Area Supervisors are also responsible for executing and supervising Company operational processes as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment by practicing safe behaviors and correcting unsafe conditions.
• Supervising the security of the building including entrance/exit control and daily checks of security devices.
• Ensuring customer safety through accident prevention and emergency procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service and treating all individuals with respect.
• Representing and supporting the Company brand and ensuring adherence to the Company Dress Code.
• Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the Store and Stockrooms.
• Completing recovery, sizing, and markdowns to Company standards.
• Receiving merchandise and processing all inbound deliveries.
• Executing loss prevention strategies and maintaining a large customer service presence.
• Supervising Front End operations and ensuring compliance with Company standards.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of Fitting Rooms and ensuring compliance with garment tag policies.
• Conducting administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
