This position plans and directs the delivery of Virginia Works programs and services in the American Job Centers (AJC) located in the designated Workforce Area. Manages the daily office activities related to program, resource and performance management; staffing and professional development; operations; customer service delivery and relations; technology and equipment; employer outreach and job services; and mandatory reporting. Oversees and ensures implementation of the goals and objectives of the Service Delivery Division, which operationally focuses on helping Virginia's employers connect with the workers that they need to do business. As a key liaison to the business community, promotes agency services and programs; conducts employer outreach and training; makes presentations; recommends process improvements; serves on committees and/or boards; and participates in promotional and education events. Positions are located in the Western Region of VA: Prince George, South Boston, Richmond-Cedar, Prince William, Alexandria, Arlington, Fredericksburg, and Norfolk/ Hampton.
