About The Position

This position is responsible for directing and executing all sales activities of the District Sales Representatives within the assigned area. Also includes managing the sales budget and ensuring a motivated, knowledgeable, and well-trained sales management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and a minimum of 3 years related sales management experience required. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
• Experience in sales administration and basic sales analysis.
• Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral presentations and in writing.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on analysis.
• Ability to quickly learn SAP, Panorama, Liberty, and DMS.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.
• Basic knowledge of the grocery industry.
• Basic understanding of how internal departments operate together.
• Work requires travel.
• Candidates must live in the geographic area to ensure a reasonable commute and access to customers and distributors in the assigned district.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain all contract processing.
• Maintain sales information on the sales share drive including promotional allowances.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of sales reports to include Transportation, Customer Master, Distributor, Price, and DSD Route.
• Perform basic sales analysis to support sales activities.
• Organize, administer, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports.
• Provide for the maintenance and accuracy of Liberty information.
• Maintain sales files and proper supplies and equipment for efficient operation of sales office.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
