About The Position

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales and margin growth for our HVAC equipment, parts, and supply business. Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing customers while overseeing Territory Sales Managers. Grow all HVAC related product sales utilizing assigned customers as well as generating new customers Develop existing accounts to increase sales and expand product lines by consistently communicating solutions and providing technical support Develop and open new accounts by consistently cold calling to provide new solutions to make their job easier and offering product support/promos Coordinate sales activities to support various product lines by communicating important information across the region Analyze customer sales reports or diminishing sales categories and strategize a plan for increasing book of business through better service or diversified product line Lead the Territory Sales Managers assigned to your region Coordinate with management on HVAC product planning, inventory, and new solutions or promos for customers Continuous tenacity to always seek a solution for our customers and not give up Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 or more years of HVAC experience
  • 3+ years of Sales and/or Sales Management experience
  • Leadership experience and ability to lead by example
  • Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to communicate well with others.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office
  • Basic typing/10-key skills.
