We have an opportunity within our Sales team covering Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This position is responsible for all sales functions related to our MIS and capital equipment products. The ideal candidate is someone who can successfully manage a long sales cycle and understands the selling environment within the Operating Room while leveraging business opportunities that support business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or a related field.
  • Medical Device sales experience with the ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Medical Device sales position is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, communication skills, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the local market, develop sales strategies, and effectively execute plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and profit & growth objectives.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing customer base and work on a strategy to close those opportunities.
  • Secure Key Opinion Leader contacts. Develop clinical relationships that engage physicians and medical staff in support of product evaluations.
  • Accurately forecast sales revenues and unit volumes for rolling 30-60-90 day forecasts.
  • Conduct sales product presentations and in-service training to nursing personnel and medical staff.
  • Competently demonstrate value propositions of product offerings to stakeholders.
  • Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of on-site meetings or contact by phone/email.
  • Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.
  • Records customer information in the CRM and monitors for accuracy and opportunities.
