About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Sales, oversees model and community appearance, coach onsite teams, monitors competition, and partners closely with construction, marketing, and leadership to achieve sales volume and high customer satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in new community openings, inventory management, and maintaining strong relationships with Realtors and Lender Partners. The Regional Sales Manager drives sales performance, supports the customer experience, and ensures each community reflects the company’s standards for excellence. Sales Team Leadership & Development Lead staffing efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and coordinating onboarding new sales team members with Human Resources. Provide individual training and ongoing coaching to ensure team members follow up consistently and confidently ask for the sale. Create and manage staffing schedules for model homes to ensure optimal sales coverage. Support and monitor self-prospecting efforts to maintain strong, proactive traffic driving activity. Conduct regular check-ins with team members to assess engagement and performance. Work one-on-one with new hires to ensure steady advancement; evaluate progress through presentations and contract-writing exercises after the first month. Address field personnel issues promptly and professionally, ensuring compliance with company policies and expectations. Customer, Realtor & Lender Relations Address customer and Realtor concerns or complaints quickly to ensure positive experiences. Review buyer follow-up logs, PS Client To Do’s and Outlook reminders to ensure timely communication and consistent follow-up Support the processing manager to maintain a clean, accurate backlog. Review monthly customer satisfaction surveys and address trends and individual feedback with the team. Maintain strong working relationships with Realtors and Lender Partners to support traffic generation and sales success. Monthly review of competition Community, Model & Inventory Oversight Visit model homes (minimum of 3 days a week) to ensure appearance, cleanliness, signage, and presentation reflect company standards. Verify that all model center collateral is current, properly stocked, professionally printed, and free from black-and-white copies or outdated materials. Inspect spec homes to ensure they are complete, clean, well-maintained, and ready for buyer visits. Monitor the corporate website to confirm landing pages and community information are accurate and updated. Work closely with construction to support home readiness, buyer satisfaction, and a smooth customer experience. Sales Operations & Performance Management Collaborate with the VP of Sales on new community rollouts, launch planning, pricing, and inventory management strategies. Track and review month-to-date, year-to-date, and cancellation metrics with the sales team to ensure strong performance and accountability. Monitor competitive activity and provide insights and coaching to the team to maintain a strong market position. Ensure full alignment between sales, construction, marketing, lenders, and leadership to achieve regional goals.

Requirements

  • Active Florida Real Estate License required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales management experience, preferably in new-home construction or residential real estate.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the new-home sales process, including contract writing, customer relations, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple communities, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, and standard office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
