About The Position

The Area Sales Manager for NCR VOYIX in Orlando, FL is responsible for managing the total region's new business acquisition within the hospitality sector. This role involves territory planning, lead generation, pipeline management, and solution demonstrations, with a focus on building relationships with hospitality management. The position aims to drive performance and maximize sales in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of related business and sales management experience
  • Proven track record of success in sales
  • Experience in the restaurant industry
  • In-depth experience and understanding of the Hospitality market and related competition
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships within your industry
  • Ability to develop accurate forecasts and execute tactical sales plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, management, and motivation skills
  • Significant business acumen
  • Ability to work and manage in a matrix management environment
  • Ability to travel at least 40% annually and up to 70% depending on specific territory needs

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline
  • Previous experience in Hospitality software sales and/or payments processing
  • Background in SaaS and/or application software
  • Previous experience using Salesforce
  • Strong executive presence
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and inspire a vision for your team's successful performance
  • Develop region and territory strategy
  • Report, analyze, and act on team performance metrics
  • Achieve forecast accuracy and consistency
  • Maximize sources of all new business: competitive conversions, new markets, etc.
  • Partner with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunities
  • Identify, build and develop relationships and referrals
  • Provide timely and thoughtful feedback on market conditions, issues, and opportunities
  • Understand the customer's business objectives and ensure NCR Voyix is viewed as a strategic partner to help meet these goals
  • Manage the sales process including building funnel, qualifying leads, identifying decision makers, developing relationships, and closing deals
  • Communicate effectively and drive cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
  • Conduct needs assessments for identifying and developing NCR Voyix solution sets
  • Manage all sales activities within Salesforce, including maintaining and updating pipeline and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Manage end-to-end sales process, including NCR Voyix solution configuration, sales proposals, and presentations
  • Manage assigned demo and consumable inventory
  • Support industry trade shows
  • Conduct business within budget guidelines for expenses; submit expenses on a weekly basis
  • Adhere to all NCR Voyix policies, procedures and business ethics codes
