About The Position

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is a revenue-generating sales position working with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships. The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the West Business Center must live in or near Monterey/San Francisco, CA or be willing to relocate. The ASM will serve as a liaison between the dealers and Stellantis to assist in all areas of retail development including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring the dealer orders meet market demand and managing monthly vehicle scheduling, and ensuring maximum production capability within the area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of sales or marketing experience
• Lives in or near Monterey/San Francisco CA or is willing to relocate for position
• Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
• Skilled in Microsoft Suite applications

Responsibilities

• Forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line
• Ensuring the dealer orders meet market demand and managing monthly vehicle scheduling
• Ensure maximum production capability within the area
• Reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and provide consultation on improvement opportunities
• Review and analysis of dealer financial statements
• Consult with dealers on areas of opportunity to improve their retail operations
• Ensure that advertising and marketing initiatives are consistent with the corporate message and branding guidelines
• Ensure proper levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships
• Motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance while meeting internal goals
