As an Area Sales Manager for John Deere Financial (JDF) in Eastern Iowa, you will support Agricultural Retailers by positioning John Deere Financial sales finance programs. This position may be located in Des Moines, IA, Waterloo, IA, Cedar Rapids, IA, Iowa City, IA or the Quad Cities Area per the hiring manager's discretion. Your responsibilities will include developing crop input finance programs to grow sales for agricultural retailers and providing solutions for their customers. You will serve as a liaison between agricultural retailers and JDF resources to improve processes and solve problems, and be viewed as the Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the JDF agribusiness channel in this geographic footprint. Additionally, you will communicate with key JDF stakeholders regarding market concerns, marketing conditions, competition, and customer issues to support profitable growth of the business. You will also develop retailer demand and grower awareness of the JDF Multi-Use product for a given geographic area, focusing on high potential accounts in specific geographic territories to ensure market penetration with industry leading agribusiness retailers. The role requires travel (on average) 50% of the time to agricultural retailers, producers, and manufacturing representatives to conduct in-person meetings, and you will document sales calls and utilize information to develop and improve relationships.
