The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change. Your Responsibilities As an Area Sales Manager for John Deere Financial (JDF) located in the DFW Metroplex / North Texas geography, you will support Agricultural Retailers by positioning John Deere Financial sales finance programs. In addition, you will: Develop crop input finance programs to grow sales for agricultural retailers and provide solutions for their customers Serve as a liaison between agricultural retailers and JDF resources to improve processes and solve problems Be viewed as the Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the JDF agribusiness channel in the assigned geographic footprint Communicate with key JDF stakeholders regarding market concerns, marketing conditions, competition, and customer issues to support profitable growth of the business Develop retailer demand and grower awareness of the JDF Multi-Use product for a given geographic area Focus on high potential accounts in specific geographic territories to ensure market penetration with industry leading agribusiness retailers Travel (on average, including air travel) 50% of the time to agricultural retailers, producers, and manufacturing representatives to conduct in-person meetings Document sales calls and utilize information to develop and improve relationships VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with sales, marketing, credit, or business
  • Strong relationship building, communication, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and execution skills
  • Ability to travel via car and airplane an average of 50% within the state of Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of JDF Multi-Use Account Special Terms programs
  • Agricultural industry experience– crop inputs, agronomy, livestock, competitors and/or customers
  • Marketing/sales experience with agricultural financial services or equipment sales
  • Proven ability to improve business performance
  • Self-starter, with an ability to work independently, and excel in an outside sales environment
  • Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Agriculture, Marketing/Sales
