To maximize revenue, profit, and market share associated with rooms and function space for each property. Manages the processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, opportunity analysis, and inventory management. With hotel's leadership, determines and manages hotels sales strategy and pricing for transient, group, and catering. Identifies future market and hotel opportunities and effectively communicates through the organization.

  • Assist the management of both our Independent Collection and branded hotels in monitoring and analyzing demand data so that strategic daily selling strategies can be implemented to consistently drive REVPAR. Prepare decks and participate in weekly strategy meetings
  • Monitor and run daily flash reports and make recommendations and provide support to the staff as necessary.
  • Create and analyze competitive hotel information to assist in proper decision making. Ensure updated information exists in all channels, i.e. Reservation systems, internet, GDS, etc.
  • Identifying revenue problems and opportunities with sufficient lead time to positively impact revenues.
  • Consistently taking a strategic approach for each hotel, finding new ways to effectively generate revenues.
  • Deals effectively with people, fostering teamwork, and leading by example.
  • Effectively manages time and processes to ensure attention to detail while achieving deadlines in work flows.
  • Continually seeks improvement in revenue management practices.
  • Maintains demand-generating calendars - holidays, special events, citywide, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
  • Excellent personal management skills; time management, meeting deadlines, effective communication and presentations skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel including formulas, sorting and filtering of data, and creating tables.
  • Ability to understand processes including creation and accountability via audits of systems.
  • Four-year degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in hotel front office, group reservations, analyst, reservations, or similar capacity. Independent and Branded operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Preferred independent and multi-brand experience (Hyatt, IHG, Hilton and/or Marriott)
