About The Position

As the Area Restaurant General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of multiple dining venues, including full-service dining, quick-service dining, and bars. You will oversee team members, ensure top-notch quality control, and maximize revenue across establishments. The role involves upholding a commitment to exceptional service standards, handling guest inquiries and feedback, and fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among team members. You will lead an exciting culinary journey as the driving force behind the daily operations of the dining venues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must embody core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
  • Required to pass a background check.
  • Required to pass a drug test.
  • Required to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate (except where prohibited by law).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain updated SOPs covering service standards, cash handling, food preparation, safety, purchasing, inventory control, and audit policies.
  • Train supervisors and staff to ensure consistent operational standards and ongoing skills development.
  • Implement training programs and sales incentives to drive revenue, improve check averages, and increase profitability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary actions in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Oversee hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new employees according to company policies and health regulations.
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules and weekly revenue forecasts within budgeted labor guidelines.
  • Ensure efficient outlet operations, including inventory management, par stock maintenance, and beverage control compliance.
  • Deliver excellent service to owners and guests, ensuring a consistently positive dining experience.
  • Directly supervise team members on-site, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high performance standards.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in appraising performance and rewarding team members for their contributions.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
