In the role of Transit/Rail Business Class Lead, we'll count on you to oversee Transit/Rail staff assigned to the Utah area. You will act as a champion for staff and actively drive talent management, training investments, performance appraisals, compensation, development and recognition, and industry and professional organization involvement. You will work cooperatively with Area Operations, Business Group Managers, Market Sector Leads, and Business Development teams in local and regional marketing efforts, being involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews. Additionally, you will collaborate on the development and implementation of a strategy to broaden HDR's rail and transit market presence and delivery in Utah. You will orchestrate work sharing including coordination of staff availability, workload, and priorities, and actively champion opportunities to grow the team, driving a can-do spirit among all parties. You will take responsibility for area coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers, all within the direction and goals of business class plans. You will oversee the delivery of project services and deliverables to meet client expectations, leading and/or participating in project teams as project manager, transit/rail QA/QC, transit/rail advisor, and/or transit/rail lead. You will also participate in business class practice and professional discipline groups, project teams and activities to continually improve standards and best practices, and implement effective quality assurance and quality control reviews. Lastly, you will participate in business class strategic planning, budgeting and plan implementation.
