SUMMARY: The Area Manager's role is to maximize sales and achieve profit for the stores. She or he is expected to manage through sales leadership, continuous training, development, and execution of non-negotiable standards of operation. The focus is to build and sustain a work environment staffed with engaged, high performing Sales Associates and Senior Sales Associates who create a customer experience that is second to none. Directly responsible for recruiting staff, onboarding, and training new staff members, retaining top tier talent, managing, coaching, and monitoring goal achievement to maintain sales performance for sales associate in assigned area. Analyze workload and the needs of the organizational unit. Recommend change in the number of staff. Train, develop, and motivate subordinates to improve their present performance and to prepare for higher-level jobs.
