Requirements

  • 5+ years leadership in automotive repair or multi-unit service ops, with proven multi-location/team management.
  • Strong financial acumen and KPI focus; basic-moderate automotive repair knowledge.
  • Proficiency in shop management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills; valid driver's license with clean MVR; willing to travel between sites.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily ops across locations, enforcing SOPs, KPIs, and standards for workflow, service quality, and customer experience.
  • Conduct site visits to spot bottlenecks and drive efficiencies.
  • Coach Service Managers and shop leaders; handle hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and performance management to build high-performing teams and bench strength for growth.
  • Own metrics like revenue, gross margin, labor efficiency, ARO, car count, and tech productivity.
  • Analyze P&Ls, support budgeting/forecasting, and implement strategies to hit/exceed targets.
  • Model safe practices; lead audits, enforce OSHA/company policies, ensure PPE use, and address incidents promptly.
  • Promote a safety-first culture.
  • Partner with central teams (Accounting, HR, IT, Marketing) for reporting/compliance.
  • Lead integrations for new acquisitions, fostering consistency and cultural alignment during expansion.
