We are looking for a committed leader to guide our 2nd shift Team Members in producing top-quality security products that exceed our customers' high standards. This role ensures a safe and efficient work environment while meeting all quality, delivery, inventory, and cost metrics. Leadership provided by this position will help us maintain a competitive edge and exceed our customers' expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years+ of production management experience preferred.
  • Experience operating and managing machines preferred.
  • Willing to accept responsibility and accountability for performance.
  • Excellent team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Team Members working in a high-precision CNC machining environment to ensure products meet the highest standards.
  • Record, approve, and track time and attendance for Team Members.
  • Partner with Operation Managers, Area Managers, and HR to make informed personnel decisions.
  • Foster a positive, employee-centric, work environment.
  • Cultivating teamwork within and among all teams at Medeco.
  • Schedule and lead regular team meetings to review progress and business updates.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained to perform their work assignments.
  • Collaborate with Operation & Area Managers to ensure a seamless flow of products through the factory.
  • Prioritize and advance orders to meet commit/promise dates.
  • Ensure Medeco shipments meet and exceed our customers' quality and delivery expectations.
  • Achieve planned productivity, and continuous improvement goals.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to give visibility to factors impacting production.
  • Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvements across the business.
  • Support development and implementation of business plans, including budget management and capital plans.
  • Co-lead and support design development projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
