Position Summary The Area Manager is responsible to assist the Regional Manager in the management of assigned portfolio, provides training to new and existing team members, ensures all property management personnel are fully supported, trained, adhering to Abode’s operational, and compliance procedures. Helps to provide coverage during open positions or when additional help is needed to complete move-ins or recertifications on time. The Area Manager is also responsible for the management of an assigned community. Focus will be on achieving company objectives, compliance with affordable housing guidelines, and operating within budget. Emphasis on maintaining the physical asset, providing a quality living environment for residents, and establishing a positive, productive working relationship with community team members. The position requires supervisory responsibility for onsite employees at assigned community and mentoring/training of Community Managers in policies and procedures.
