Area Managers are responsible for supervising the operations of an entire Aftermath area and have the opportunity to make a true impact on our organization. You'll oversee approximately 10-12 locations ($10-15M in revenue) while leading employees and driving sales growth for one of the fastest-growing biohazard remediation companies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify address, & resolve performance issues through action plans & corrective action
  • Plan and conduct regularly scheduled meetings & visits with direct employees
  • Ensure the safety of employees & customers
  • Ensure employees are trained in and follow EHS (Employee Health & Safety) Guidelines
  • Attain revenue goals consistently
  • Ensure area staffing, scheduling, and availability so Dispatch can fluidly set appointments
  • Ensure project work plan, progress, complicating factors, & deviations from the work plan are all noted accurately & timely in the portal in a professional & fact-based method
  • Address & resolve customer service complaints
  • Manage and achieve area payroll budget
  • Ensure all pay & billing related information is passed along to the proper Central Operations department
  • Ensure training & development of staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce
  • Review and analyze shop inventory procedures, cycle counts, & levels to ensure every truck is properly stocked & ready to work
  • Review and analyze the competitive landscape within the area and keep leadership informed of Aftermath's competitive pricing position
  • Collaborate with Divisional Director & Marketing teams for lead generation performance

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant operations management experience including but not limited to: People Management, Multiple Site Management, P&L management
  • Exceptional skills in attention to detail, time management, project management, and organizational abilities
  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Background in construction, demolition, restoration, or experience using hand or power tools a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to travel outside the home market roughly 50-75% of the time and be responsive during non-traditional work hours as required
