About The Position
The Area Manager at GridHawk LLC is a pivotal role responsible for leading and driving a team of employees to achieve key performance metrics such as On-Time Performance (OTP), Efficiency, and Quality. This position requires a strong focus on maintaining and protecting the designated area of coverage while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The Area Manager will oversee daily operations, including the scheduling of contractors and sub-contractors, and will be responsible for routing tickets to optimize efficiency. The role involves developing game plans to meet daily production targets and providing assistance to team members as needed. In addition to operational oversight, the Area Manager will review daily documents and reports, ensuring that all documentation complies with client regulations. Establishing quality assurance measures for clients and resolving any issues that arise is also a critical part of the job. The Area Manager will ensure that all team members' timesheets are accurate and that they are accounted for throughout their shifts. This position requires expertise in various job tasks, including observing, locating, marking, and documenting underground pipeline locations. Engagement with employees is essential, as the Area Manager will provide daily support and ensure that team members have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their jobs effectively. The role also includes assisting with training for new hires and existing team members, as well as collaborating with corporate support staff on various operational needs, including recruiting, training, development, and safety. Other duties may be assigned by higher-level managers as needed.
