About The Position

The Area Manager, Shipping at Factor, a brand of HelloFresh, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of receiving, shipping, storage, and logistics. This role involves coordinating activities, providing coaching to associates, and ensuring maximum productivity while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or related work experience.
• At least 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment (preferred).
• Intermediate computer skills including data analysis/creation, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Email.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 10-15 employees and ensure proper training along with efficient and safe operations of shipping activities.
• Communicate daily with carriers to ensure on-time compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments within the distribution center to solve problems.
• Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among subordinates.
• Investigate and adjust personnel problems within the area of responsibility.
• Support and follow direction from management with minimal supervision.
• Report defective equipment to management and maintain the work area.
• Update data in the computer system and perform data entry using computer programs.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results.
• Manage departmental performance measures and provide regular progress reports.
