Requirements

• Four plus years of related work experience.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Word, and Excel, Lotus Notes E-mail, and JD Edwards.
• Must complete Team and Continuous Improvement Training after being hired on.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that production is met to satisfy contractual commitments.
• Plan and facilitate work of assigned employees.
• Increase the synergies and employ the knowledge of plant teams.
• Support teams as required.
• Maintain a positive working attitude and environment.
• Ensure that policies, procedures, and bargaining unit agreement requirements are satisfied.
• Willingness to accept and delegate authority.
• Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Focus on product quality and process control.
• Perform 'make' versus 'buy' analysis.
• Interview, appraise and discipline employees.
• Acknowledge team accomplishments.
• Support material shortages.
• Support machine and equipment repairs.
• Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues.
• Implement effective corrective actions utilizing structured planning methods.
• Support housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Understand and support the Continuous Improvement Plan.
• Participate in the resolution of grievances.
• Create and maintain budgets, approve expenditures, and manage operations within budgets.
