About The Position

The Area Maintenance Managers play a pivotal role in day-to-day maintenance operations. You will be responsible for planning the daily preventive maintenance, repairs, and projects for each technician, as well as overseeing the safety, quality, productivity, and compliance of the technicians. This role is responsible for building relationships with their personal and supporting their growth within the company. About the Team: The Maintenance Organization provides support for the entire site by completing proper preventive maintenance on all equipment in the facility. When identifying a potential failure, this team works efficiently to schedule the repairs in a timely manner and communicate with Operations. The Maintenance Organization is also tasked to work on projects from both associates and leadership and are aimed to remove associate barriers or friction points to improve the overall associate experience. This role develops a close relationship with associates on the floor and provides training on equipment functionality and operation.

Requirements

  • Facility Maintenance background, preferably with conveyor experience
  • Shift flexibility
  • Ability to train technicians that are newer to the maintenance organization
  • Makes decisions that are aligned with Maintenance KPIs
  • Ability to ensure technicians operating efficiently while maintaining a high safety standards
  • Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification in an Industrial related field and 1 year related maintenance department supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field OR 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance related environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 2 year Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months experience leading a work or project team (e.g. risk control) OR 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment; supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees with 1 year experience in the maintenance field.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

  • The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $100,000.00
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
