About The Position

The Area Manager oversees multiple practices within a designated area, ensuring operational excellence, staff and provider performance, and compliance with organizational standards. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, staff training, and business development initiatives.

  • Knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency in KPI tracking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting.
  • Practical/working knowledge of EHR systems and inventory management tools.
  • Strategic Thinking Problem Solving Team Leadership Adaptability
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of healthcare operations experience and 3+ years in a management role overseeing multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership Oversee clinical and administrative operations across multiple sites
  • Business Development Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with marketing for local initiatives.
  • Compliance & Quality Ensure adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
  • Staff & Provider Oversight Plan for staffing adjustments and succession by monitoring employment lifecycles and operational trends. Supervise staff and provider schedules; ensure coverage and productivity.
  • Training & Development Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for staff and providers.
  • Inventory & Supply Management Monitor inventory levels; approve and place supply orders.
  • Schedule Management Create and manage monthly staffing schedules.
  • Financial & Reporting Review and approve invoices; oversee daily revenue reporting from patient visits.
