About The Position

As the Area Installation Manager, you will be responsible for daily inventory, warehouse preparation and maintenance, , problem solving, and assisting with customer service concerns. The IM will oversee all warehouse operations procedures per company guidelines. This role will maintain the positive image, brand, and reputation of Universal Windows Direct. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction/remodeling industry
  • Leadership experience with proven ability to hire, develop and motivate talent
  • Computer software competencies (MS Office 365, Internet and Access)
  • Knowledge of job costing and adhering to budgets
  • Strong construction knowledge
  • Experience with permitting and building code compliance projects
  • Ability to work standard retail hours consisting of weekends and evenings

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Business or Project Management or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative and field process, as well as warehouse management strategies and organization tactics
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and take corrective action as needed
  • Train and develop a team of service-oriented staff
  • Foster teamwork between sales associates, processing and installation staff
  • Assist in profit and loss strategies as developed by Corporate
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with company safety policies and procedures; operational corporate policies, practices and procedures; and government regulations
  • Assist in design and redesign of warehouse layouts and backend operations
