About The Position

The Area General Manager at Siemens will lead and oversee strategy, sales, and operational activities for the Baltimore area, focusing on creating efficient and responsible environments through Smart Buildings technology. Requirements

• 10+ years experience with commercial building automation, fire alarms/Life Safety, or security systems.
• Experience as a P&L manager with demonstrated results in delivering performance to budget.
• Prior experience in Operations, Sales, or both.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Prior experience in Operations and Sales, Solutions and Service, and Energy service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee strategy, sales, and operational activities for the Baltimore area.
• Collaborate with leadership regarding strategies, plans, and performance.
• Implement the Smart Infrastructure Buildings strategy in the assigned markets.
• Work closely with the Zone Sales Leader and Partner Management to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain personal contact with major customers to maximize opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage workforce utilization planning for sales and service operations.
• Foster profitable growth through team-selling strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations and company policies.
• Act as a liaison to customers and local authorities to capitalize on market opportunities.
• Direct the implementation of sales and operations solutions and services programs.
