Reinforcing - Ironworkers place reinforcing steel bars in forms that will be filled with concrete. The bars must be lifted, carried and placed by hand. They are then held in position by wrapping and tying wire at the intersections of steel. This reinforcing steel is used in the construction of buildings, bridges, parking structures, dams, storage tanks and other projects.
