About The Position

Lead the Culinary Vision for a Premier Corporate Dining Program Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an exceptional Senior Area Executive Chef to lead the culinary strategy and execution for a potential new client across five primary locations in the Washington, DC and Northern, VA markets. This is a high‑visibility culinary leadership role designed for a chef who thrives on innovation, operational excellence, and building best‑in‑class food experiences. As the most senior culinary leader on this enterprise, you will shape menu direction, elevate culinary standards, and drive consistency across cafés, catering, conference services, and pantry programs. This is an opportunity to influence a multi‑site program while partnering with a client that values creativity, hospitality, and modern dining. This role gives you the opportunity to shape the culinary identity of a multi‑site corporate dining program from the ground up. You’ll have the creative freedom to design menus, elevate catering, and influence the guest experience across five locations—all while partnering with a client that values innovation, hospitality, and chef‑driven food. Requirements

  • Experience leading multi‑site culinary teams or complex foodservice operations
  • Strong background in corporate dining, hotels, country clubs, or high‑volume scratch kitchens
  • Skill in menu development, seasonal programming, and elevated catering
  • Solid financial acumen, including food cost and inventory management
  • A hands‑on, team‑focused leadership style
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with clients and operators
  • Passion for hospitality, creativity, and delivering memorable guest experiences
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead culinary operations across five primary locations in Washington, DC and Northern, VA.
  • Drive menu innovation, seasonal programming, and elevated catering experiences.
  • Execute high‑profile events and partner with client stakeholders on culinary strategy.
  • Ensure food safety, quality, consistency, and operational standards across all sites.
  • Conduct culinary audits and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of culinary talent across the enterprise.
