About The Position

The Area Director for the Private Duty Nursing (PDN ) division is a results-driven leader responsible for aggressively growing and scaling the business across an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a high-performing operator who thrives on building census, expanding market share, and driving revenue. You will lead multiple offices with a strong focus on sales performance, operational execution, and team accountability. Partnering closely with business development and clinical leadership, you will play a critical role in expanding referral networks, increasing hours of care, and positioning the PDN division as a top provider in the market. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on growth, offering a competitive, performance-based bonus structure tied to results.

Requirements

2–3+ years of leadership experience in home care, healthcare operations, or a related field
Proven track record of driving revenue growth, increasing census, or expanding service lines strongly preferred
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, metrics, and performance goals
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
Must meet all state and company requirements

Responsibilities

Drive aggressive growth in census, hours, and revenue across the PDN division
Own territory performance and hold teams accountable to key metrics and growth targets
Build, develop, and manage high-performing teams across multiple locations
Partner closely with business development to generate referrals, open new accounts, and expand market presence
Identify and execute opportunities for new business, service expansion, and territory growth
Actively participate in referral development, client meetings, and community outreach
Ensure strong staffing pipelines to support rapid growth and service delivery
Deliver an exceptional caregiver experience to improve retention and field engagement
Maintain full compliance with all regulatory requirements while scaling operations
Monitor KPIs and quickly adjust strategies to maximize performance and profitability
