About The Position
West Liberty University is seeking applications for an Area Coordinator in the Residence Life Department. The Area Coordinator plans, organizes, directs, and oversees various aspects pertaining to the day-to-day operations and coordination of assigned student housing area. The area coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the first-year residential area, including but not limited to student conflict, crisis response, residential management, programing, staff, staff and student development. Is responsible for managing the residential First Year Experience program, including First Year Orientation and Welcome Week as well as department staff development, training, and selection and coordinating staff programming throughout the department. This is a Live-in Position.
